Anomaly rate adjustment under performance-based regulation

​​Overview

The Alberta Utilities Commission has commenced a second stage review proceeding, Proceeding 24325, to consider the concept of an anomaly adjustment and to consider the type(s) of anomaly adjustment(s) to be permitted, in accordance with Decision 20414-D01-2016. The AUC issued a notice of second stage review for this proceeding on February 14, 2019. This proceeding applies to all natural gas and electric distribution utilities that are regulated by the AUC. 

The AUC will hold an oral argument on November 1, 2019, to provide registered parties in this proceeding an opportunity to address or summarize the main points from their argument in chief and to comment or respond to the arguments of other parties.
