The Alberta Utilities Commission is currently considering a project application from Kneehill Solar LP who has applied to to construct and operate a 25-megawatt solar power plant called the Michichi Solar Generation Facility approximately one kilometre northwest of the town of Drumheller. The AUC will be holding a hearing in Calgary, Alberta, on August 27, 2019, to review the applications and submissions received, as indicated by the notice of hearing
issued on May 31, 2019.
The proposed Michichi Solar Generation Facility would be located on approximately 320 acres of privately owned agricultural land, consisting of a 25-megawatt power plant, including solar panels, inverters, an access road and a collector system connected to the Michichi Creek 802S Substation via a 25-kilovolt distribution line.
If you intend to present written evidence at the hearing, you must be present at the commencement of the hearing and submit written evidence by July 25, 2019.
