Approval to replace and relocate transmission poles along existing transmission line 138-26.81 within the Transportation and Utility Corridor (TUC), to accommodate Alberta Transportation’s Stoney Trail expansion along Deerfoot Trail and Highway 22X, in southeast Calgary. Alberta Transportation has requested EPC relocate a portion of the existing 138-26.81 transmission line that crosses the east part of the interchange area, in order to maintain sufficient clearances to the new road grades. EPC proposes to remove 12 of the existing transmission structures and reinstall 11 new structures along existing transmission line 138-26.81. The alignment of these structures would be moved east within the TUC. |
