AUC Rule 021, Settlement System Code required changes as a result of the issuance, by the Government of Alberta, of the Micro-Generation Regulation (AR 207/2008) on February 1, 2008. These consequential changes were discussed with stakeholders through a consultative process and a new version of the Settlement System Code (Version 1.1) was approved by the AUC on July 15, 2008 to take effect on January 1, 2009.
