The AUC will be holding a hearing to review the application and submissions received to consider the power plant development application in Proceeding 28295. The AUC issued a notice of hearing on November 3, 2023.
PACE Canada LP has applied to construct and operate a 16.1-megawatt solar power plant, designated as the Caroline Solar Project. The project would be located on approximately 57 acres of private, cultivated land, within the urban boundary of the village of Caroline. Specifically, the project would be located within the northeast quarter of Section 14, Township 36, Range 6, west of the Fifth Meridian. The project would connect to the FortisAlberta Inc. distribution system.

The AUC will be holding an information session to provide information about how you may become involved in this proceeding and the funding which may be available to you to support your position, which includes costs for legal representation and expert witnesses. The project and its merits will not be discussed at this session.
