The AUC will be considering the solar power plant and substation development applications in Proceeding 30067.
Eastervale Solar Inc. has applied to construct and operate a 300-megawatt solar power plant located in portions of eight quarter sections, approximately 10 kilometres southwest of the village of Hughenden.

Eastervale Solar Inc. has also applied to construct and operate the Eastervale 1090S Substation located in the northwest quarter of Section 2, Township 40, Range 8, west of the Fourth Meridian. The applications have been filed under the Hydro and Electric Energy Act.
The AUC issued a notice of hearing for this proceeding on July 30, 2025. The hearing is scheduled to begin on November 17, 2025, at 10 a.m.

The eFiling System should be accessed to view the applications and the other documents the AUC will be considering in this proceeding. The system is also used to file submissions and evidence to participate in the proceeding.
