The AUC has approved applications from ENMAX Power Corporation has applied to relocate its 69-kilovolt Transmission Line 69-16.61L in the northwest Calgary communities of Collingwood, Charleswood, Brentwood, Dalhousie and Varsity. The transmission line connects ENMAX No. 16 Substation in the Varsity community to the ENMAX No. 27 Substation at the intersection of John Laurie Boulevard N.W. and 14 Street N.W. The AUC issued Decision 27474-D01-2023, on January 25, 2023.
ENMAX Power Corporation has been approved for their preferred route proposal to rebuild a portion of the existing transmission line within the Dalhousie community to a new alignment along John Laurie Boulevard in the Charleswood, Collingwood and Brentwood communities. The AUC issued a notice of hearing for this project on August 25, 2022.
