The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC), the independent utilities regulator, will be holding a hearing to review the applications and submissions received to consider the electric transmission development applications in Proceeding 28321. The AUC issued a notice of hearing on October 17, 2023. The hearing has since been rescheduled for April 3, 2024.
AltaLink Management Ltd. has applied to decommission and salvage Transmission Line 124L between the Wabamun 2739S Substation and the Wabamun 19S Substation as well as to decommission and salvage the Wabamun 2739S Substation. The map identifies the location of the substation and transmission line. The applications have been filed under the Hydro and Electric Energy Act.

The AUC will be holding a hearing to review the application and submissions received to consider the electric transmission development applications in Proceeding 28321. The hearing will commence on April 3, 2024, at 9 a.m.

The eFiling System should be accessed to view the applications and the other documents the AUC will be considering in this proceeding. The system is also used to file submissions and evidence to participate in the proceeding.
