The Alberta Utilities Commission (AUC), the independent utilities regulator, will be holding a hearing to review the application and submissions received to consider the solar power plant development application in Proceeding 28086.
Abacus Power Ltd. has applied for approval to construct and operate an 18-megawatt solar power plant and to connect the power plant to the ATCO Electric Ltd. 25-kilovolt distribution system.
The power plant would be located on 133 acres of privately owned agricultural land located in the north half of Section 8, Township 32, Range 23, west of the Fourth Meridian, approximately 2.26 kilometres northeast of the town of Three Hills, in Kneehill County.

The AUC will be holding a hearing to review the applications and submissions received to consider the solar power plant development applications in Proceeding 28086. The hearing will commence on November 27, 2023 at 10 a.m.

The eFiling System should be accessed to view the applications and the other documents the AUC will be considering in this proceeding. The system is also used to file submissions and evidence to participate in the proceeding.
