The AUC is reviewing applications from Solar Krafte Utilities Inc. to construct and operate a 60-megawatt solar power plant, designated as the Vauxhall Solar Farm, and the associated Solstice 549S Substation.
The AUC issued a notice of revised hearing for the project on July 4, 2022.
The project would be located on approximately 260 hectares of private land in the Municipal District of Taber, and would be located approximately five kilometres northwest of the town of Vauxhall. Specifically, the project area would cover the following sections and as illustrated in the map below:
