Overview

The AUC is has approved applications from Solar Krafte Utilities Inc. to construct and operate a 60-megawatt solar power plant, designated as the Vauxhall Solar Farm, and the associated Solstice 549S Substation. The AUC issued Decision 27077-D01-2022 on December 16, 2022.

The project will be located on approximately 260 hectares of private land in the Municipal District of Taber and will be located approximately five kilometres northwest of the town of Vauxhall. Specifically, the project area will cover the following sections and as illustrated in the map below:
